Similar to Storm Claudia hit the northwest the previous evening, City swept United away at the Etihad. It was a statement three-nil win for their manager's side thanks to goals from Knaak, Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a display that clearly signaled their leadership claims as they consolidated their place at the league summit.

Consecutive Losses for United
